  • A Little Poetry: A periodic in print for 20 years. A Little Poetry is an ongoing electronic publication, updated as work is accepted throughout each year. This site has been online since 1996 and currently receives an average of 8,000 unique visitors per month.
  • Acorn: Journal of contemporary Haiku. Submissions will be read during January/February and July/August only.
  • Alaska Quarterly Review: Alaska Quarterly Review (AQR) publishes fiction, short plays, poetry, photo essays, and literary non-fiction in traditional and experimental styles.
  • Algebra Of Owls: A Yorkshire-based poetry e-zine publishes one poem every day.
  • Best Poems Encyclopedia: This anthology is published once a year.
  • FFP Poetry Forums - Family Friend Poems: Every 30-days they accept poems. Plus the web page has many tools to help the poet.
  • Pif Magazine: Click here for guidelines. The Pif Home Page. Anthology
  • Poems Encyclopedia: Submission is free and open to any poet or author and Poems must be original.
  • Ploughshares: One winner in each genre per year will receive $2,000 and publication in the literary journal. Entry to the contest requires a $24 fee, which is waived if the submitter is a current subscriber. Subscriber fee is $35.
  • Poetry Foundation: Link directly to the guideline page. Payment rate of $10 per line with a minimum payment of $300, and $150 per page of prose, for first serial rights. 
  • Poets & Writers: Learning lab, children and young people poetry and a mobile app. Digital subscription: Subscriber fee is $35.
  • Rattle: Contributors in print receive $100/poem and a complimentary one-year subscription to the magazine. Online contributors receive $50/poem.
